“Static charge in a material can cause problems when this material is used for a next production phase e.g. tubular film used to make bags or a film on a roll has to be unwound”
Static charge in a material can cause problems when this material is used for a next production phase e.g. tubular film used to make bags or a film on a roll has to be unwound . Due to static charges on the film, the layers will cling together causing problem when trying to separate the layers.
When a static charge is in between two layers it is almost impossible to neutralise. Static elimination or neutralising the static charge on the material has to start as early in the process as possible when the layers are still separate. Throughout the whole production process anti static equipment should be fitted to keep static levels as low as possible, so preventing a static charge build up between the layers.
Products used in this application:Performax IQ Easy
High performance combined with optimal control. This is the new standard for antistatic bars. In combination with the Manager IQ Easy the Performax IQ Easy anti-static bar will ensure a very high efficiency of static neutralisation. Within the IQ Easy Platform up to thirty ionisation and charging devices can be connected in a network.
